The team performed a knowledge, attitudes, and practice (KAP) survey of bedside nurses to evaluate perceptions of antimicrobial use and aid in the design of nursing-based antimicrobial stewardship interventions. The survey highlighted discrepancies in knowledge and practice as well as opportunities to improve communication with nursing colleagues.
